Life without Cable

As a graduate student, I have had to look for ways to save money. I was spending at least ninety dollars a month and that was before my bill would increase. My solution was to get my wireless from a different company. I bought a fire TV stick. I love it. I am able to watch Netflix, Hulu, and access other apps.
Don't get me wrong, I do sometimes miss the ability to watch local channels and the news, but I like the independence. I'm not at the mercy of the cable company, and I can take it with me anywhere.
I don't regret giving up cable. My intent was to save money. But I gained so much more.
